  • Treasurer - The NLB’s accountant, responsible for safeguarding our finances and processing payments.
    • Work closely with the Financial Director on reporting and planning
    • Process all credits/debits from the NLB account
    • Coordinate and ensure successful payment/delivery of membership fees
    • Deliver a signed report in conjunction with the Kas Commissie annually at the June ALV
    • Key skills
      • Excellent user of Microsoft Excel and capable of running analyses from it
      • Understand bank accounts and demonstrate good fiscal responsibility
      • Super user of E-boekhouden.nl
      • High level of integrity and honesty
      • (Federal Board Position, 2-year commitment)
    • Example candidate: Finance, or accounting student/professional

 

  • Secretary – The NLB's Project Manager and Administrative Coordinator
    • Coordinate and make sure NLB projects are delivered to completion
    • Handle administrative tasks that require legal/contractual sign-off
    • Maintain NLB contact list and ensure the website is up to date (marketing content excluded)
    • Track, count and validate votes with careful note taking from ALVs and Federal Board Meetings
    • Provide support to ALV meetings upon request from the NLB President
    • Serve as a central point of contact internally and externally
    • Strong communication skills and comfortable with PowerPoint
    • Key skills
      • Project management, business process manager
      • Well organized person
      • Patience for handling the small admin tasks when appropriate
      • Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Outlook
      • Good writer, Dutch + English

  • NLB Journalist - Be the “face and personality” for the NLB’s brand and marketing activities.
    • Conduct interviews about lacrosse
    • Maintain a vlog/blog
    • Write articles and/or videos for the newsletter, social media accounts, and website
    • Copyedit as needed and maintain up-to-date marketing content on the webpage
    • Key skills
      • Interest in journalism and lacrosse
      • Savvy writer, blogger, video personality
      • Self-starter, go getter, someone that brings ideas to life
      • Likeable personality, charming and charismatic
    • Example candidate: journalism student/professional with a lot of energy and interest in sports.
